About Wood Stoves

The teens in our independent living program love to cook! For the past few years, we have used charcoal grills. Now that charcoal prices have skyrocketed in Uganda, we are looking towards a more sustainable solution: wood burning stoves. To outfit each dorm with a stove is $1500/each, or $3000 total.
