About Family and Disability Program

Okoa's dream is for every child to be raised within a family environment. This is especially true for the kiddos in our Family and Disability Program. These children need one on one care and there is no better place to get that than at home.

The children in this program all have extreme medical needs. They live with things like hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and epilepsy.

When you sign up as a Care Team member for the Family and Disability Program, you are providing for all of the child's meals, any and all medical appointments, surgeries, MRIs, CT scans, adaptive devices, a myriad of different therapies, relevant medical training for caregivers, vocational training for caregivers, emotional support, daily needs and so many other vital things.

You are truly changing the life of the child and his/her entire family!
